NEW School Time: We had a Christian formation meeting this past during which we discussed the results of the recent school survey and brainstormed on improving our Christian formation program. One request from the majority of respondents is that school to be before the service and shorter. Our school teachers were willing to support this but were concerned about never being in church. After much discussion we came up with the following idea which we will implement during a trial period from March - June. Beginning th, we are changing our school time from after church to . It will end at 10:15/10:20am. The preschoolers will stay downstairs and have their own special service while the rest of the children grades 1 and up will come up for the sermon, peace and the Eucharist. At the end of the service, parents will need to go downstairs to pick up their preschool age children. Coffee will be available both before and after the service. To help facilitate this change, we will also be doing the announcements before the processional hymn and we will have a longer time for you to greet each other and then we will aim to shorten the peace.
